Candymonium

Candymonium opened in 2020 as the centerpiece of the Chocolatetown expansion, a project that reworked the park's main entrance area around Hershey's core chocolate and candy branding. Built by Bolliger & Mabillard, it immediately became the tallest, fastest, and longest coaster ever built at Hersheypark, surpassing records that older rides like Fahrenheit and Great Bear had held for years.

The 216-foot first drop launches into a stretch of long, sweeping airtime hills that stretch the layout past 4,600 feet — B&M's hyper coaster track produces smoother, more sustained floating sensations than the sharper, punchier hits found on hybrid coasters like Wildcat's Revenge, giving Candymonium a distinctly different rhythm from the park's other modern additions.

Themed around Hershey's various candy brands with graphics and colors tied to the company's product lines, the ride ties its identity to the park's origins more directly than most Hersheypark coasters manage. Since opening, it has become one of the park's signature attractions and a common answer to which ride best represents the modern Hersheypark experience.
