Beach Rescue Racer opened with SeaWorld San Antonio’s Rescue Jr. kids area as the land’s family coaster — jeep-styled cars racing along a rescue-themed track for younger guests. Official Rescue Jr. pages describe roughly 1,300 feet of track and a story about racing to aid stranded beach creatures.
The ride replaced the earlier Sesame Street Bay of Play coaster era with SeaWorld’s own rescue-and-rehab branding, matching sister-park Rescue Jr. concepts elsewhere in the chain. It sits beside Seabird Swing, Ocean Quest Express, and splash play rather than in the adult steel pocket by Steel Eel.
