Accessibility and rider access

How parks handle mobility devices, alternate entrances, and ride eligibility — plan ahead with official policies.

Park visits

Parks publish accessibility guides covering wheelchairs, ECVs, transfer requirements, and alternate boarding. Policies differ by chain and by ride — a coaster that needs a full transfer is not the same as a show venue with companion seating.

Height requirements, restraint shapes, and evacuation procedures also affect who can ride. Never rely on a third-party summary alone; use the park’s current accessibility PDF or app page the week you visit, because trains and rules change.

Coaster Atlas lists sourced height requirements when parks publish them, but we are not a medical or legal advisor. For specific mobility or sensory needs, contact guest services before travel and build buffer time into your day plan.
