Flagship wooden coaster with an 82-foot lift, roughly 2,800 feet of track, and top speeds near 50–55 mph. Wide banked turns, successive hills, and a twister finale deliver strong airtime and laterals on a relatively compact footprint. Reopened after the park’s 2020–2021 hiatus and remained a centerpiece through the 2025 season.

Background
Built by Custom Coasters International and designed with input from Larry Bill (and Dennis McNulty per some accounts), Silver Comet opened in 1999 as a tribute-style wood coaster. It survived the park’s 2019 closure and subsequent ownership change, returning in 2022 after track work and train restoration.
