Cheetah Chase debuted in 2020 as the world's first launched water coaster — two dueling ProSlide toboggan tracks totaling more than 1,700 feet, starting with a water-powered flat launch before a side-by-side race.
Unlike Wildebeest and Mammoth's multi-passenger boats, Cheetah Chase seats three per toboggan-style vehicle and uses water propulsion for its uphill sections, giving Splashin' Safari a competitive racing credit over Bahari River.
